We are sharing a fun new way to practice spelling words today!
My son really enjoyed this activity and ended up doing it a few times over the past couple of days. I say that is a win in my book!
Just Mix, Dump, and Spell!

Supplies:
- construction paper
- scissors
- pen
- word list
Hands-on Spelling Activity
With your child's spelling list handy, write each word on a different slip of colored paper.
Next cut up the word by cutting each individual letter, sort of creating a "letter tile."
Crumble up each piece of paper and put it in a cup.
Once all the letters are in the cup, give it a little shake to mix them up!
Dump it out and have your child sort through the crumpled up papers by first sorting by color and then arranging the letters to spell a word from his/ her spelling list!
